Uworld.
In the Uworld design case exercise, I undertook a comprehensive redesign of key elements within the Forums section. The three main components that I focused on were the Forums homepage, a specific Forum Topic, and a user-submitted Forum Entry.
Overall, my redesign focused on enhancing the user experience, improving visual aesthetics, and fostering a sense of community within the Uworld Forums. By making these changes, I aimed to make the platform more engaging, user-friendly, and conducive to meaningful discussions among its members.

New Forums Homepage
For the Forums homepage, my primary objective was to enhance user engagement and improve navigation. I implemented a clean and intuitive layout that prominently showcased popular and trending topics, allowing users to quickly access the most relevant discussions. Additionally, I integrated personalized recommendations based on each user's interests and past interactions, encouraging them to explore new areas of interest.

When redesigning the Forum Topic page, my main focus was to create a visually appealing and informative environment that fosters a sense of community and enhances user engagement. To achieve this, I implemented a clear hierarchy for replies and comments, making it easier for users to follow the discussion flow. By including user avatars and badges, I provided visual cues to signify different levels of participation and expertise, encouraging users to actively contribute and showcase their knowledge.
Simultaneously, I optimized the user-submitted Forum Entry process to streamline and improve the overall submission experience. I created a user-friendly interface with clear guidelines and formatting options, making it easier for users to compose their entries. The introduction of a real-time preview feature allowed users to see exactly how their entry would appear before submission, reducing errors and encouraging the submission of higher-quality content. By focusing on these aspects, I aimed to create an inclusive and interactive space where users can engage in meaningful discussions and share their expertise with ease.
